MAMSA Suturing Workshop 2016
On March 26, we successfully organized a surgical workshop at the Monash Medical Centre. This workshop was mainly for our preclinical members, allowing them to have some clinical exposure.
Members rotated through three different stations; namely, suturing, surgical knots and chest X-Ray stations. It was a fun afternoon full of learning and excitement for our preclinical members, who never got a chance to use sutures during their preclinical years.
A big shout out to Dr Sylvia Tay and Laval Chu for volunteering their afternoon as tutors. We would like to thank Medtronic (Coviden) for providing sutures for this event.
