Welcome to another T&D event of the year on a lovely Sunday morning (12/09): MAMSA Talk!
Special thanks to Dr Phi Nguyen, Dr Stella Nguyen and Dr Qiao Xin Tee for delivering this amazing seminar covering MET call, hypotension, tachycardia, hypoxia, fever, O2 and fluids. It was very comprehensive and a great interactive session where many of us could answer and ask questions.
We started off with Dr Tee’s talk on what to do when you, as an intern, get paged for a patient who is feeling unwell, tachycardic and hypotensive. Dr Stella Nguyen then covered various types of fluids and oxygen masks and how we choose them, and Dr Phi Nguyen covered fever, antibiotics and sepsis management.
We are also happy to announce that we had more participants than expected from all clinical year levels ! We hope all of you enjoyed the event and found the talk useful.
T&D will aim for more similar events in the future for both our pre clins and clins, stay tuned! :))
