MAMSA Sausage Sizzle

MAMSA Sausage Sizzle

The MAMSA Sausage Sizzle event was held on the Sunday, the 2nd of August in front of Woolworths in Camberwell. It was part of the annual plan of our amazing treasurer, Alicia Thang. Having had a lot of success 2 years ago in the same venue, it was a no brainer for us to decided to organise a sausage sizzle here to raise funds for the upcoming Cambodia Mission Trip. The funds will be directed towards subsidizing the cost of a toilet that we are planning to build in a remote village in Cambodia.

To add more flare to the sausage sizzle, baked goods were also made by our dear MAMSA members. As expected, it was a big hit among the locals doing their groceries in Camberwell Market! We are definitely blessed to have such talented bakers in MAMSA. Expect to see more of those amazing baked goodies in the upcoming MAMSA events, its not to be missed!

Volunteers from MAMSA took shifts to man the barbeque stall. Its not an easy task being covered in all that smoke and smelling like barbequed meats in the end of the day. In addition, the volunteers had a great time walking around selling their baked goods to passers-by, developing their communication skills in the process!

Here are some pictures from the day;
